The 12th Heidelberg Laureate Forum will take place from September 14 to 19, 2025. Journalists wishing to attend and cover the 12th HLF can apply for accreditation online from February 10 until September 10, 2025.
Journalists can also apply for a limited number of travel grants from February 10 until March 31, 2025.
What to expect
Journalists from all around the world with a variety of specializations register to cover the HLF each year. At the Forum, journalists have the opportunity to conduct personal interviews, attend laureate press conferences or engage directly with participants in an informal setting. Press participants have access to nearly all program elements throughout the week of the HLF, including social program events in the evenings. Journalists may apply for a limited number of travel grants provided by the HLFF that cover accommodation and travel costs. Members of the press who do not receive a travel grant but are able to cover their own expenses are nevertheless encouraged to register for accreditation.
Internal up-to-date coverage of the HLF is provided via the HLFF Blog, press releases, as well as podcast and Vlog episodes. The HLF provides a selection of daily press photos for external use with proper attribution.
