1st HLF 2013
From September 18–23, 2013, after over a year of intensive preparation, the HLF made its debut and left its mark on the worlds of mathematics and computer science. The organizers had studied the framework of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings in order to base the event on a proven model. Nonetheless, expectations were high for the 1st HLF and with 38 laureates in attendance, the participants were eager to experience the week of exchange. Over the course of the week, there was an extensive scientific program with 18 laureate lectures, along with discussions and workshops. Space to exchange and network was not forgotten and there was ample time built into the schedule where the participants could engage one another. Though inaugural, the 1st HLF set the mold for the future events, both in the quality of the atmosphere and the fundamental framework of the program.
All lectures are available in the NEWSROOM.
